“Platform5 Oxegen Battle of the Bands 2011 –
The Road to Oxegen”
The popular music club from Dublin is now on the road. The first stop is the Dew Drop Inn in Kill, Kildare.
12 bands have been hand picked by MCD to perform at this years competition based on their music alone.
3 bands from each night have made it through to the grand final on June 25th in The Dew Drop Inn.
From there 2 bands will be chosen to open the “New Band Stage” at Oxegen 2011!

Fox E. and the Good Hands
Touchwood
Sive
ColourMePink
Soldiers Can’t Dance
The winners will be playing the same festival as some of the biggest acts in the world.
They will also have an appearance on RTE 2xm King Kong Radio recorded live at the Dew Drop Inn.
